Chronologie des Comics IDW

Après la fin des Archie Comics, SEGA a décidé de faire un partenariat avec IDW pour réaliser une série de comics qui, dès le début, s'affirmera comme canon aux jeux et donc prend place dans l'univers des jeux de la franchise. Les comics font suite à Sonic Forces et à la défaite d'Eggman face à la Résistance. Les numéros (marqués avec un #) de la série principale s’intitulent tous "Sonic the Hedgehog". Les spin-offs sont indiqués par couleur : les Mini-séries en jaune, les Annuals en rouge, les Free Comic Book Day en vert, et les One-shots en orange.
